There is so much beauty in being broken. I read a quote once that said something like our hearts break to let more light in. This is what ive decided. When we are born, we are born with closed, finite hearts. We are born with innocence too. But as you grow a bit older things start to fill up in that heart of yours both good and bad, and your heart can handle it. But as you grow older and older your innocence gets stolen from you and you start to expirience more of the traumas of this world. Your heart gets heavy. Thats when its necessary for it to break. After it breaks all the light from the outside can come in and shine over all that darkness. Only then I beleive your heart becomes infinite. This process doesnt only happen once it will continuously occur. Thats where the beauty lies, because everytime you break you become a little more alive. You become exposed to your sensibility. Every crack tells you a little more about yourself your stregth, your courage, your perserverance, what you are made of.

Truth is if you are reading you are broken in one way or the other. The more broken, the more beautiful. The most beautiful people are beautifully broken. Their heart  is heavy but they love the deepest. They have seen the dark but they appreciate everything that shines. They are compassionate, empathetic  and understanding. Beautiful hearts dont just happen- go show the world how beautiful you are in all your flaws.

Actually broken crayons color better!
